About Us
We are experts in the provision of dedicated, full time warehouse, production line and all class driver workers to leading third party logistics organisations, major supermarket retailers, car manufacturers, food packaging companies and many others.
In some instances we provide the full workforce in our clients' facility. In others, our staff work along side the clients own employees and provide full flexibility of both hours and shifts worked to ensure business and seasonal trading peaks are achieved effectively and efficiently. We often assist in a new operational or site start up, working alongside the client's implementation team to ensure all recruitment needs are achieved.
The Rapier Employment Ltd business strategy is based upon relationship building. Our aim is to create a mutually beneficial and enduring partnership with our clients. We have developed relationships spanning nearly 20 years with a number of our customers. We understand their requirements, their staffing levels, their trading peaks, health and safety requirements, in short their business needs.
We have worked with these clients to deliver major business and network changes, new site start ups and the implementation of technological innovation.
Our Approach
Rapier is much more than a labour provider. We have an experienced and knowledgeable team with years of accumulated expertise in both transport and warehousing. This allows us to offer a unique end to end service which we believe few other recruitment agencies can match. Before taking on any project we will ensure that it is meticulously scoped, costed and that detailed implementation plans are in place. When we partner customers for new site start ups we include work flow assessments, local comparisons, pay modeling, job descriptions, site induction information and training documentation as a given. We offer a variety of solutions that are tailored to meet our customers specific needs, from on site management and dedicated trainers to transport and accommodation solutions for employees, we can facilitate most requirements. Detailed management reports such as fuel utilisation, productivity and absence reporting can be provided on either standard or bespoke templates. To ensure that we deliver quick and accurate information to our customers and employees we have made significant investments into IT infrastructure including time and attendance systems, KPI reports, local knowledgebase, web based payroll and online driver booking sheets.
